At only 10 months old and weighing in at 90 Lbs., a pup named Niko was both agile and smart.

Niko was born into a litter of 8 German Shepherd pups and ended up finding a loving home with a fireman. When Niko was only 8 weeks old he bonded with his owner! Pup accompanied him to the fire station on every shift, sleeping in a crate when the firehouse was too busy. Niko melted the hearts of all those he encountered.

It became apparent early that Niko was a quick learner and destined for great things. He responded to the fireman’s hand signals and commands without hesitation. With the ‘Chill’ command Niko sweetly placed his chin flat on the floor, I am so impressed! As Niko developed he became eligible for search and rescue training programs.

This makes me feel so proud!

The saying ‘When one door closes another opens’ really is true.

You see my life as I knew it was swiftly turned upside down when my legs were kicked out from under me, literally! As a result I realized I would have to take personal safety into my own hands.

An idea was born! I would buy a German Shepherd pup and have her trained in protection for myself and property. Now, I just needed the perfect pup.

Upon my dad’s insistence I started with a registered pup boasting a great German blood line. And my project was born. The result produced what was the best breeding program of intelligent Shepherds with top notch conformation my Vet has seen in a long time.

What beautiful, loyal, intuitive breed German Shepherds are and I can honestly say once I started working with them I have never looked back!!
