In these long dreary winters my Orchids flower and my Bird of Paradise blooms with large colorful splashes of color what could be more beautiful to surround yourself with. A little sunshine would be nice but very unlikely this winter.

Plants are life and I have always had a fascination with them…
As a child my mother, Perviz filled our home with the smallest African violets to the largest rubber tree which has lasted for 40 years!

In his younger days my brother Fid, gave mom a tiny 5 -pronged Jade plant for mothers -day. A straggly one stemmed plant in a small plastic green 5 “ pot. Well, just last week when visiting mom I noticed that the jade plant was over 4 feet tall now and the plump leaves knocked off by her dogs wagging tail had fallen on the carpet and rooted!
